Betty Marie Page Charlotte Betty Marie Page, 86, of Charlotte, died Saturday, March 2, 2013. Betty was born October 22, 1926 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of John and Irene (Herbert) Thompson. She grew up in Charlotte, before marrying her husband, Jack on October 24, 1942, just after her 16th birthday. The two married at Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church prior to Jack's service in WWII. Betty worked as head cashier at the Kroger in Charlotte, retiring in 1982. In her retirement, she went back to school and gained her High School Diploma. Betty was a life member of the VFW 2406 Auxiliary and volunteered at the Eaton Senior Center. She and Jack loved participating in the Senior Bowling League with many of their friends. Betty is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Jack Sr.; daughter Linda (Ralph) Bloomfield of Kalamazoo; son Jack (Jan) Page of Charlotte; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Pray Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be to Eaton Community Palliative Care. Arrangements by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
