Robert "Bob" J. Hoag Lansing Born April 30, 1944 to the late Robert and Mary (Suggitt) Hoag died March 20, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Bob retired from Ameritech in 1999. He was a lung recipient, an avid supporter and volunteer for Gift of Life. He was a proud Air Force veteran, and a skilled wood worker. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be missed for his loving and giving personality. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Wendell Speck, and a grandson Drew Parker. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Janice (Crawford) Hoag of 47 and a half years; 3 daughters, Dawn (Scott) Thomas, Tammy (Mark) McComb, and Michelle (Kevin) Parker; 5 grandchildren, Bobby, Collin, Daniel, Hannah, and Braeden; 2 brothers, Francis (Rose) Hoag and William (Beth) Speck; 2 sisters, Carol (Russ) Robinson and Peggy (Kezma) Aboosamra; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, with Pastor Ben Cuthbert officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service. Contributions may be made to Gift of Life in memory of Bob. Condolences may be made at www.palmerbush.com
