Edward Jaye Las Vegas, NV Formerly of Delta Twp. Born August 22, 1927, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. Ed served in the US Army Air Corp, 82nd Airborne as a Staff Sgt, during WWII. He was the owner of J's Party Center, Ed Jaye Builders; J's Terrace Room and Ed J. Realty. Ed loved living in Las Vegas for the past 7 years. Ed is preceded in death by his son, Eddie in 1968. Surviving is his wife of 59 yrs; Elaine, 3 children: Chris, Cindy, and Karen Jaye (James Root) and 2 grandchildren: Travis McCullough and Akayla Jaye. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 22, 2013 at 1:30p.m. at St. Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Paul Erickson as celebrant. Rite of committal will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 3:00-9:00p.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw, where the Vigil will be prayed at 7:00p.m. Visitation continues Monday at the church at 12:30p.m. Condolences can be made at www.palmerbush.com.
