Ricardo R. Gordillo Fountain Hills, AZ Ricardo R. Gordillo, born on September 19, 1936 in Campeche, Mexico left us for the arms of the Lord on August 2, 2013. Ricardo started his own company called Project EXCEL where he was the executive director. He helped ex-offenders find meaningful and real employment upon their release throughout the State of Michigan. Ricardo lived in Lansing for over 30 years and has long ties to the community, the Cristo Rey Church & Center and was a leader in the Latino/Chicano community before moving to Fountain Hills, AZ. In Arizona he worked part time at Fort McDowell Casino as a supervisor. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Patino), his sons Derrik and Alan and many other loved ones in the Patino and Gordillo families who greeted him into the Kingdom of God. He is survived by his son Paulo Ricardo Gordillo, daughter-in-law Laura Gordillo and four grandchildren Karleigh, Kayla, Isabel and Alex. A special thanks to his friend and brother Hymie Dahya and his wife Lourdes Rodriguez. The Gordillo family would like to thank Gilbert Sosa, Cinthia Amaya, Tana and all of the staff at Fort McDowell Casino for their support and love. Mass will be held at Cristo Rey Church on Friday August 30th at 6:00pm with dinner to follow.
