We're very thankful to Norm for making this world a better place and passing on his values to loved ones. He was passionate about causes he believed in and about things in everyday life, like cooking, the Spartans, nature, gardening, cross country skiing, the list goes on and on. Rudy and I are so thankful to have had many beautiful times on the ski trails with him. We will forever treasure the talks we had with Norm and Mary over amazing drink and cuisine, prepared by chef Norm, of course. I know we're better people because Norm blessed our lives. Mary, we look forward to many more great times and talks with you!
Our hearts go out to all of the family, we love you very much. Rita & Andrew 'Rudy' Bishop

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mary and the rest of your Robison family. We were in CA and missed the services for Norm.
I attended Lansing's Foster School from 1945 to 1952. It would have been great to have had Norm as one of my teachers. Quite a well-rounded talented man!

Norm without question, was one of the few people I have met in my life who epitomized what it means to be "full of life"! Always smiling, always caring, and of course first and foremost a "Spartan" in the truest sense of the word. Mary, my heart goes out to you and your family for your loss.

We have fond memories of both Norm and Mary from our years at Plymouth Church. Norm was a great guy who could bring a humorous flavor to any situation. Marlene remembers getting "Two Hours of Excellence" started probably a few years too soon, but still great memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Norm. I am three years older but we went to the Millett school together. We both have the same first and middle name and the kids all referred to us as the big and little Norm. I remember Norm as a fun and happy kid in school.

Norm has and will always have a special place in my heart. He and my brother, John, and I were very close when we were cousins growing up in Lansing. Norm taught me how to drive and took me to his Senior Prom at MSU where we danced to the music of Glenn Miller. He was a fantastic teacher then and one of the most gentle and finest man I've ever known. My love and condolences to his wonderful family and all the people he has touched with his love and caring. I love you Norm! Janet Sneider-Brown, Ashland, Oregon

Norm was my Church family. He had big hugs for me with a smile. We did the first mission meal together from scratch and did potatoes with him for the Christmas Workshop. He was a good teacher and patient with me in the kitchen. Thank you Norm for sharing yourself with Plymouth. You are missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Norm's passing from this life into eternity. My condolences to Mary, and the children and grandchildren. The Robison family form an integral part of my very precious memories of serving Mayflower Congregational Church and are among those special people whom I will always remember fondly. Though Heaven rejoices at the homecoming of a saint of God, there is an empty space in the hearts of those left to finish this earthly life without husband, father, grandfather, friend. My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to all who will miss Norm. May the love of God enfold you, the peace of Christ fill you, and the power of the Spirit sustain you now and always.

What a great teacher and role model. Katie and I dearly loved and respected him. At a Mt. Hope function, Katies grandma Wilma realized that Norm grew up across the street(Mt. Hope Rd) from her as kids, and they were friends.
Small world and she thought the world of him too.

I remember him well, even after many years of my being away from DeWitt. He lived an exemplary life from all I remember and have heard. Our families were friends when I was a kid, and I recall visiting their 'farmhouse' when I was little. Images come to mind like the garden, where they grew rhubarb, a plant I had never heard of - and I remember the pies! And I remember his kindness. The last I saw him was at my Mom's funeral in 2001. I wish I had taken more time in spite of my grief to sit and talk with him. He was there alone, just to show he cared. I just remember the sincere look of concern and caring on his face. A good and caring man.

My condolences to Mr.R's family. He was my fifth grade teacher. After leaving My. Hope and going onto 6th grade. I would go up to visit him. The students loved him....and how could you not. I remember he had thrown a roll of toilet paper at me in class because I was being the class clown. He was an amazing man and has definitely left his mark in my life. Thoughts and prayers during this time of need.
