Jewel White "Judy" Hanslik

Jewel White Hanslik LUBBOCK-Jewel (Judy) White Hanslik, 93, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away Dec. 26, 2015. She was born in Fisher County, Roby, Texas, on Sept. 7, 1922, to Joe P. White and Vivian Ellen Richardson White and was raised on her family's farm in Wilson, Texas, with one sister and three brothers. She was married to Adolph R. Hanslik in Lubbock, Texas, on Dec. 25, 1966, and they were both involved in the cotton export business and traveled world-wide. She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; her husband; and great-grandson, Jon Carl Stephenson. She is survived by her daughter, Ruami and husband, Jimmie Stephenson; her son, Joe Hanslik and wife, LaDonna; four grandsons, Clint Stephenson, David Stephenson and wife, Melissa, Nicholas Hanslik and wife, Kourtney, and Brandon Hanslik; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Connor, James, and Sam Stephenson. Visitation for friends and family will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. A memorial service will be held in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
