Ann Bennett Jenson

Ann Bennett Jenson LUBBOCK-Ann Bennett Jenson, 101, passed away on Oct. 18, 2013. She lived a rewarding life by doing the things she loved the most. She taught grade school for several years in Hobbs, N.M., and Texas. She played basketball in school and would follow all the basketball games at her Alma mater, Texas Tech. Having a great sense of humor and plenty of funny stories to tell, she would always have her listener laughing. She is survived by her son, A. Bennett Jenson; her three granddaughters, Stephanie, Michelle, and Jennifer; and her two great-grandchildren, Jared and Mariska. A memorial service will be held on Oct. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3321 33rd street, Lubbock. She will be laid to rest next to her departed husband, Alfred J. Jenson, in Hobbs, N.M. on Oct 22. Funeral arrangements are by Franklin Bartley Funeral Home.
