Carol Politte Motsenbocker LUBBOCK- Services for Carol Politte Motsenbocker will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Pastor Ryan Smallwood and son, Sylas Politte officiating. Entombment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Sanders Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Carol was born September 20, 1953 in Lubbock to the late Calvin and Elouise Craig. She married Roger Motsenbocker on March 9, 2002 in Lubbock. Carol, also known as Mrs. PoPo was a faculty member of Lubbock Cooper ISD since 1996. Her heart beat for the Cooper Pirates, and no one cheered louder for her kids and grandkids than she did. Carol is known for many talents. She was an extremely hard working, free spirited individual. She was a great example for serving others. She had a way with words always saying or writing the right message. She was also famous for her pies. She even paid for a mission trip to Africa by baking and selling her pies. Carol is survived by her husband, Roger Motsenbocker; sons, Sylas Politte and wife, Shea, and Thad Politte and wife, Megan; daughter, Amanda Easter and husband, Chris; stepson, Joshua Motsenbocker and wife, Aundra; and a stepdaughter, Jennifer Dickson and husband, Michael. She was a loving Meemaw to seven grandchildren, Jacob, Ty, Kyle, Presley, Hannah, Noah, and Mycha. Carol is also survived by a brother, Rodney Craig and wife, Jill; sister, Cathy Sosebee and husband Rick; and her beloved dog, Bella. She also leaves behind many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate UMC Endowment for Hope, c/o Aldersgate UMC, 10306 Indiana Ave, Lubbock, TX 79423.
