Diane Schuster DENVER CITY- Funeral services for Diane Schuster, age 79, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Denver City with Reverend Randy Butler and Reverend Bob Fred assisting. Burial will follow at Denver City Memorial Park. Family visitation will be held on Monday evening, January 14, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boyer Memorial Chapel in Denver City. All services are under the direction of Boyer Memorial Chapel, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas. Mrs. Schuster passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City, Texas following a lengthy illness. She was born April 15, 1933 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Norma (Kelly) and A.B. Crawford. She married Bill Schuster in Granbury, Texas on August 3, 1956 and had lived in Denver City for 49 years. Diane began a teaching career in Rockport, Texas where she taught for four years. She also taught school in Seagraves, Texas for two years, and had been a kindergarten and first grade teacher in Denver City for 27 years. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma, the Tejas Study Club, and Eastern Star for 62 years. She received her twenty-fifth anniversary watch and service pin from Denver City Independent School District. As a member of the First Baptist Church in Denver City, Diane had been in the choir and served as church treasurer. She served 20 years on a worship service group for the Denver City nursing home and loved visiting with the residents. She also enjoyed cooking and reading. Diane Schuster was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Bill Schuster of Denver City, Texas; one son, Gary Dean Schuster and wife Beatrice of Gallup, New Mexico; one daughter, Dana Partin and husband Patrick of Colorado City, Texas; two nephews, Bob Hill and wife Charlotte of Colleyville, Texas, and Kelly Hill and wife Debra of Granbury, Texas; three cousins, John Henry Luton and wife Marilyn of Granbury, Texas, Susan Woodruff and husband Forrester of Reton, Washington, and Nancy Luton of Houston, Texas.
