Helen Jean Hoffman Priddy

Helen Jean Hoffman Priddy AUSTIN-Helen Jean Hoffman Priddy of Austin, 74, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 3, 2013, following a stroke on Jan. 31. Helen was born in Lubbock, Texas, on April 14, 1938, to Charles and Ethel Hoffman. She graduated from O'Donnell High School, attended Texas Tech University, and later completed her degree in public relations at the University of New Mexico. Helen married Thomas Glynn Priddy in 1959, and they had two children. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Tom Priddy; son, Charles Chuck Priddy and wife Susan of Austin, Texas; daughter, Lori Priddy Graham and husband Mike of Wichita, Kansas; and grandchildren, Matthew Graham, Morgan Priddy and Zachary Graham. A memorial service celebrating Helen's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (7127 Bee Caves Road, Austin, TX 78746). A reception will follow immediately in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Darrell K. Royal Fund for Alzheimer's Research (dkrfund.org) or Austin Samaritans (austinsamaritans.org).
