At the services, anyone who wishes to speak or share a memory of Anthony is invited to do so and would be greatly appreciated by his family. Anthony was born on November 21, 1979 in Lubbock to Ronald and Ty Ann (Cosgrove) Nichols. He graduated with honors from Lubbock High School in 1998. He then went on to graduate from Texas Tech with a B.B.A in Marketing in 2003. Anthony loved playing his guitar and writing songs. He also enjoyed playing football and basketball. Most of all, he loved playing with his dogs. Many dogs were very lucky to be his pet during Anthony's life. He treated them like little kings and queens and told stories about them all of the time. Anthony is survived by his parents, Ronald and Ty Ann Nichols of Lubbock; sister, Ny Lynn Nichols-Crowell, husband Mike and son, Connor all of Amarillo; brother, Zachary Nichols and wife Janet of Lubbock; sister, Tori Nichols of Lubbock; grandparents, Lee and Evelyn Nichols of El Paso; grandfather, Jack Cosgrove and wife Alma of Springfield, Va.; grandfather, Calvin Edwards and wife JoAnn of Grants, N.M.; and girlfriend, Telecia Zahn of Lubbock. Anthony was preceded in death by a baby brother, Eric Nichols; his grandmother, Wanda Bonin and her husband, John; and great-grandparents, Clarence and Opal Hill. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to the Lubbock Professional Police Association (LPPA) P.O. Box 64685, Lubbock, TX 79464. To leave on-line condolences, please visit
