Betty J. Titues LUBBOCK-Betty J. Titues, 81, of Lubbock passed away on April 3, 2013. Betty was born on Jan. 24, 1932, to the parentage of the late Caploria and Charlie Boone. Betty was a loving mother and friend to everyone she met. She was employed with L.I.S.D. until she retired. Betty accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, and was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend Edward Canady. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one daughter; one son; and two nieces. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Sandra McCullough; three sons, Clintell Titues, Jimmy Childress and Eric Titues; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Rudy F. Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church. Interment will follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
