Betty Snodgrass LUBBOCK-Betty June Snodgrass of Lubbock departed this life on Friday, April 13, 2012, at the age of 80. She was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Cisco, Texas, to Quincy and Betty Arnold. She attended Cisco schools and graduated in 1949. She married Gene Snodgrass on Feb. 23, 1952, in Clovis, N.M. Together they had two children, Judy and Phillip. Betty was a member of Sunset Church of Christ, where she taught classes and served on several committees. Betty served as president of the letter carriers auxiliary and was a lifetime member. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Judy Young and husband Russell of Lubbock; one son, Phillip Snodgrass and wife Sue of Lansing, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Zachary Young, and Chelsea and Chad Snodgrass. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruby Burnam and Winna Fox; and three brothers, Q.G., Wayne and Darwin Arnold. The family suggests memorials be made to The Children's Home of Lubbock, PO Box 2824, Lubbock TX 79408. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Lubbock. Graveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, in Green Memorial Cemetery in Wilson, Texas. Please celebrate the life of Betty by visiting
