Bobbie went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011. Bobbie G-Ma was a very special mother, grandmother, and friend who always wore the sweetest smile. Her many activities included volunteering for Second Helpings at First United Methodist Church and being a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1982, where she held the following offices: president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. Bobbie was the chapter sweetheart, City Council Treasurer and Beta Sigma Phi Woman of the Year. At Ransom Canyon, Bobbie was the city secretary and tax collector for 13 years. In retirement, Bobbie moved to The Sherick Retirement Home, where she made many more new and dear friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edith and Jim O'Brien. Bobbie will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her two daughters, Jeana Kaye Werts and her husband Dave, and Pamra Gay Culp and her husband Doug. She is also survived by two precious grandchildren who loved their G-Ma very much, Kelsey Renee Culp and Tyler Douglas Culp. Bobbie's family wishes to thank the ladies and staff at The Sherick for their many kindnesses. Bobbie always counted the ladies as part of her family.
