Bobby Marlar LUUBOCK-Bobby Marlar, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 211 Tyler Avenue, Lorenzo, Texas. A tribute of Mr. Marlar may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family. Cremation is under the care of Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers Crematory. Walter Robert was born on Sept. 25, 1936, to Robert and Margie Armstrong Marlar in Lorenzo, Texas. Bobby graduated from Lorenzo High School. On Nov. 28, 1959, he married the love of his life, Beth A. Norman, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo and community supporter. Bobby is survived by his wife, Beth A. Marlar; daughters, Toni Marlar Robertson, Pamela Ricketts and husband Tony, and Robbie Pond; grandchildren, Jeremy Robertson, Nathan Robertson and wife Cecilia, Kaleb Robertson and wife Courtney, Brayden Pond, and Remington and Kylie Ricketts; great-grandchildren, Colton and Weston Robertson, and Avery George; and sisters, Peggy Alred, and Patsy McMillan and husband Hershel. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Marlar.
