Lubbock- Cydnee Cierra Payne of Lubbock passed away on Monday, November 29, 2017 at the age of 22. She was born July 8, 1995 in Ft. Worth. Cydnee left a permanent mark in this world with her easy demeanor and dazzling smile. She left an impression on everyone she met in all walks of life. Cydnee was a phenomenal musician with an extraordinary singing voice. She was a natural talent playing both guitar and ukulele. Cydnee was an exceptional and deeply expressive writer and composer. She was a beautiful, free spirit who loved spending time with those she loved the most, especially her daughter, India.

Cydnee is survived by her beautiful daughter, India Marie Christensen, "Moon"; mother, Kim Yocham-Johnson and Bob Johnson of Lubbock; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Joy Yocham; and siblings Tyler and Rhiannan Yocham and Jude Johnson, also of Lubbock. Cydnee is also survived by her father, Derrell Payne; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Payne; and siblings Hannah Holcomb, Hailley and Paris Payne of DFW area. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Chuck Payne.

A viewing will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway. A lantern release will follow at 9 p.m. at Maxi Park Covenant Lakeside (first 100 people will receive a lantern for release.) Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Relentless Few Clubhouse, 10611 Private Road 1730, Wolfforth, through the efforts of Jodie Boatright and Chris Boatright, thank you so much.
