Donald Lee Vaughan HART- Donald Lee Vaughan, 76, of Hart, Texas, died on Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Reverend Chance Perkins, officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Honors, arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Donald Lee Vaughan was born on May 15, 1936 in Ralls, Texas to Guy and Maudie Vaughan. He married Alphina Chambers in 1970 in Lubbock, Texas. He was manager and partner of Hart Pump Service for 34 years, was Assistant Fire Chief of Hart Volunteer Dept., Director of Panhandle Plains Chapter of State Water Board, president of the Hart Lions Club, founding member of Hart Golden Senior Citizens Group and a member of Masonic Lodge of Olton. He was a devoted father, community leader and a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alphina; and one sister, Guyrene Copeland. Survived by two sons, Clarence Ray Milam of Lubbock, Texas and Loy Richard Milam of Tompkin ville, Kentucky; one brother, Jerry Vaughan of Gail, Texas; one sister, Bertie Copeland of Gail, Texas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
