Donna Sue Thompson LUBBOCK-Family and friends of Donna Sue Thompson will gather for fellowship from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 28, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, 6025 82nd Street. We will celebrate her life of 55 years at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 10306 Indiana Avenue, Lubbock. A tribute of Donna Sue may be found at, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family. Donna Sue was born on Jan. 5, 1957, in El Paso, Texas, to Thomas Arthur and Evelyn Dena Thompson. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Lubbock Christian University. Donna was employed at Covenant Medical Center for the past 18 years. She was a member of the Methodist Children's Home and has been a foster mom for the last seven years. She also actively engaged in serving others through Christian mission trips and volunteering locally. Survivors include her children, Brian Michael Hart and his wife Alison, Kimberly Anne Lindamood and husband Billy, and Matthew Jamison Dragich, and granddaughter, Averie Grace Hart. Donna is also survived by her loving parents; her sister, Pattye Ann Austin; and Kota Bear, her faithful friend. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Wayne Hart, who died on July 12, 1994.
