Dorothy Mae Morton LUBBOCK-Dorothy Mae Morton went home to be with her savior on March 13, 2013. Visitation will be today, Friday, March, 15, 2013, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Saturday March 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Resthaven Memorial Park with Ross Spencer officiating. Dorothy was born in Grayson County, Texas, on Feb. 7, 1925, to the late Otis and Mae (Knight) Nuckels. She was a gentle and loving woman who enjoyed camping and outdoor activities. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and was an excellent cook. She loved the Lord and raised her children to share the same love; she was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by a grandson, Kelly Edwards, and two brothers, Lawrence Nuckels and Ancel Nuckels. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Charles Morton (Cheryl) of Irving, Texas, Jimmy Morton (Delores) of Lubbock, Texas, and Linda Edwards (Jerry) of Lockney, Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Berry of Haskell, Texas.
