Floyd Norman Stephens (1918 - 2017)


Broken Arrow, OK (Formerly of Lubbock)- A celebration of the life of Floyd Norman Stephens, 99, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (Formerly of Lubbock) will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Home. Floyd passed away October 3, 2017.

Floyd Norman Stephens was born July 22, 1918 in Sunset, TX to Dennis and Dola Stephens. He married Cloetill Adams January 31, 1942 in Frederick Oklahoma. During World War II, he served in the the U.S. Army. He moved to Lubbock in 1948 where he owned and operated several gas service stations until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1988.

Loved ones include his son, Norman Stephens and wife, Rita; daughter, Vickie Elaine Stephens; two grandchildren, Lauren Ananth and Ryan Stephens; great-grandchildren, K.J., Drew, Riley, Jackson and Sydney.
