Frances Rae Wampler LUBBOCK- Frances Rae Wampler of Lubbock died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the age of 78. She was born July 17, 1934 in Selma, Ala. to Alda Rae Mott. She married Orville Richard Wampler in 1957. She was a member of Covenant Hope Fellowship, Cornerstone Assembly of God, and was a dedicated Walmart employee for many years. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Bonnie Richardson and husband Putnam of Orange, Texas, Judy Ward and husband Rick of Lubbock, and Michelle Timberlake of Houston; two sons, Bill McCray and wife Julie of Durham, N.C., Rikk Wampler and wife Tammy of Jamestown, N.D.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Aaron Wilkinson; and her grandmother, Matilda Mott. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at New Hope Church, 10701 Indiana Ave. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at DFW National Cemetery.
