Jim Davidson LUBBOCK- Celebration of life services for Jim Davidson, 60, will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 10306 Indiana Ave. with Pastor John Givens officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Jim passed from this life, Sunday, April 29, 2012. James E. Jim Davidson was born May 8, 1951 in Slaton to Horace and Verda Nell (Hargrove) Davidson. Jim was co-owner of High Plains BMW. He served as Past Master of the Wolfforth Masonic Lodge and as District Deputy for the Grand Lodge of Texas. Jim also served as president of the Dust Bowl Beemers for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Matilda Ann Smith. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Sherry; daughter, De'Aun Porr and husband, Jeff; granddaughters, Kasey and MaRanda Porr; and brothers, Leslie Davidson and wife, Carol, Bill Davidson and wife, Betty all of Lubbock and Robin Davidson and wife, Mary of Marble Falls.
