Jimmie, Bud and Tassie,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jimmie, Bud and Tassie, there are no words at this time that will touch your hearts and make them heal, Jim was one of the dearest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and a true Southern gentleman, not to mention a true cattleman in every way. I will always cherish the memories that he and Jack and I made you all have always made us feel like part of the family. Jack and I loved him so much and I just know that right about now they are sitting up there making a cow deal with Bubba Roming as I type, love and prayers to you all, Susan Raley

Jim was fine man and the most honorable man I have ever known. He was such a good friend to me and I will miss him so much. In all the years I have known Jim I have never known him to say even one little cuss word. I will forever remeber him saying "Oh foot" instead.
I am so sorry for your loss Jimmie, Bud and Tassie. You were all so lucky to have had Jim as a rold model.

I met Jim when I was a teenager. He has always been a role model and mentor for me through the years. I could always go to Jim for advice. I had bought an old yellow horse one time and decided I needed to sell him. I had run and ad in the paper with no call backs. I saw Jim and told him of my dilema. He said " What are you asking for the horse?' I told him $750.00. He said "Say, you're trying to sell that horse too cheap. You run you and ad for $3000.00 and you will get some calls." Sold that old horse for $2500.00 a few days later.
Jim was a good friend to me and I'll surely miss him.

Jimmie, Bud, and Tassie,
How saddened I am to learn that Jim had died this last weekend. He was a great man, and a tremendous role model for friendship, integrity, and honor. How lucky you all are, to have had him all these years!
I know he was loved by you, and by all of us, his friends.
We'll miss him along with you, and Amy and I wish you all the very best.
