Jo Turpin LUBBOCK- Jo Turpin, age 73, passed away Monday August 20, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born December 30, 1938 in Plumerville, Arkansas to Ira and Ruby Tomblin. Jo loved life and loved her family and animals. Jo is survived by two sons, Weldon Russ Turpin and his wife Shawn of Graham, Texas and Ricky Dodd Turpin of New Braunfels, Texas; two grandchildren, Skyler James and Haley Estelle; one brother, Don Wayne Tomblin of Lubbock; and one sister, Shirley Jean Lyle of Mesquite, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
