Kevin Smith LUBBOCK-Memorial services for Kevin Smith, 53, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Kevin went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 6, 2012. Ronald Kevin Smith was born June 3, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas, to Ronald Floyd and Leona Smith. He graduated from Monterey High School and attended Texas Tech University. Kevin was a longtime insurance agent in Lubbock for Mutual of Omaha and then established Protective Insurance Services in 1990. Loved ones include his daughter, Tricia Smith Garrett and husband, Reid, of Nashville, Tenn.; mother, Leona Renfroe of Austin; brother, Kyle Smith and wife, Tracy, of Lubbock; and beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father in 1983. Kevin was friendly and fun-loving, and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
