Kyle Little LUBBOCK- Kyle Durward Little was born on June 1, 1923 and passed in his sleep on June 17, 2013. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Larry Little officiating. He was the youngest of ten children born to Joe A. and Mary Little. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Sara; a daughter, Jill Little Kiker; his parents; and eight brothers and sisters. Kyle was born outside of Stephenville, Texas and grew up there until enlisting in the US Army Air Corp. During the war, Kyle completed his missions as a radio navigator on a B-24 based out of England. After returning from the war, he attended Tarlton State College and married Sara Jane Aldridge in July of 1948. Kyle and Sara moved from Ft. Worth to Lubbock in 1955 and he retired with FHA-HUD after 32 years of service. Kyle and Sara were some of the first members of Trinity Baptist Church where Kyle served as a deacon for many years. Kyle was a member of the Blue Lodge Masons and his hobbies included astronomy, camping, photography, ham radio and small engine repair. He dedicated over 10 years as a Boy Scout Troop Leader and Explorer Scout advisor. Kyle is survived by an older sister, Maxine Threat of Ft. Worth; his son, Larry Kyle Little of Plano, Texas; grandchildren include, granddaughter, Kamber Little Dancy, husband Jonathan and their two daughters, Sara Grace and Adaleigh all of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Graham of McKinney, Texas; and grandson, Dax Kyle Little, wife Ashley and their son, Logan Kyle Little of Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
