LaRita Riney LUBBOCK- LaRita Riney, 62, of Lubbock died Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Lubbock. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel at First Baptist Church of Littlefield with Bob Thomas officiating. LaRita was born June 14, 1950 in Littlefield to S.A. and Billye Parmer. She was raised in Sudan and attended Sudan High School. Most of her adult life was lived in Lubbock. She worked many years at Datho Manufacturing as well as other businesses in the area. In her spare time, LaRita loved to exercise her creative talents making southwest themed arts and crafts creations. Her family has fond memories of special meals she prepared for the ones she loved. One of her greatest joys in life was being Mamaw to her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, S.A. Parmer, and a brother, Phillip Alan Parmer. Survivors include her mother, Billye Parmer of Littlefield; two daughters, Branda Rusk and husband Troy of Lubbock and Miranda Riney and husband Jesus Valverde, Jr. of Shallowater; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Justin, and Macie Rusk, and Baylea, Kaylea and Ethan Valverde; and one brother, Ronald Parmer of Levelland.
