Lee Charles Gorman LUBBOCK-Lee Charles Gorman, 83, of Lubbock passed away on Oct. 17, 2012. Lee was born on Sept. 3, 1929, to the late Buster and Fannie McKinney Gorman in Kaufman County, Texas. Lee attended public schools in Kaufman and Dallas. He worked various jobs in Lubbock and with Weaver Ditching before retiring. Lee Charles Gorman was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 31 years; three stepdaughters, Denene Haynes, Yonne Davis and Denetia McCullough; two stepsons, Quentin Davis and Kenneth McCullough (Lashonda); nine stepgrandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Hampton and Velma Thompson; three nephews, Willie Thompson Jr., Carl Gorman and Michael; a special cousin, Larry B Boy Gorman; Howard Brown; special friend, Charles Gene Caraway; and a host of cousins and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Peaceful Garden Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
