Linda Ann Clark LUBBOCK-Linda Ann Clark, 55, passed from this life on Feb. 12, 2013. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, 6025 82nd Street. A service to celebrate her life is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Luke's Methodist Church, 3708 45th Street. Linda was born on Oct. 22, 1957, to the late Benny Brookshire and Patsy Locke. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1976 and attended Lubbock Barber College. Linda married the love of her life, Dennis Rushing, on Dec. 5, 2011, in Lubbock, Texas. She worked as a hair stylist for Cutting Edge. She was very passionate about her work and acquired lifelong friends with her colleagues at Fulton's and Cutting Edge. Linda's family and friends were the most important thing in her life. A favorite pastime of Linda's was riding motorcycles with her husband, Dennis. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Rushing; son, Wesley Clark and wife Samantha; brother, Wes Burk and wife Stacy; nieces, Delany and Harper Burk; stepdaughters, Heidi Rushing and Jessica Rushing; stepgranddaughter, Paizlee Rushing; and her faithful loving dachshund, Molly.
