Lucille Collins Harvey LUBBOCK-Lucille Collins Harvey, 77, of Lubbock passed away on June 17, 2013. Lucille was born on Aug. 30, 1935, to the parentage of the late Timothy and Ella Mae Collins. Lucille attended Progressive Baptist Church. She was an avid fisherwoman, shopper and loved to listen and dance to B.B. King and all other blues greats. She called herself Ms. Bill Dance because she believed that she was the best fisherwoman alive. We all laughed about how she would dress in all white, put on her false eyelashes, go fishing, and never get dirty. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Barbara Baca, Jan McClain, Gail Sugar Turner, Lissa Collins and Karen Gay Collins; sons, Kevin Jay Daddy-O Collins; sisters, Vern Avery and Julian Green; brothers, Ronald Bunk Collins, Samuel SK Collins, Hosea Collins and Larry DeDe Collins; grandchildren, Lesha, Kreshenna, LS III, Kimberely Kaye, Marquis, Trevon, Thristian, Synia, Shae, Justin, Kevin Jr., Kiara; and a host of other great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013, at 12 p.m. in Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held today, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
