Lubbock- Mary Louise (Hall) Beavers, 85, of Lubbock went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born January 16, 1933 in Charlie, Texas to the late Luther and Essie (Wilcoxen) Hall. After graduating from Lazbuddie High School, Mary married James A. Beavers on November 29, 1952 in Muleshoe, Texas. She was a farmer's wife and a mother of three children. Upon retiring from farming, Mr. and Mrs. Beavers moved to Lubbock. Mary worked for Steinmart for twelve years as a designer in the linen and bath department and was selected to travel to new stores and set up the linen and bath departments. Mary loved cooking and preparing meals for her loved ones. She was an avid gardener and loved canning and freezing her fresh fruits and vegetables. Mary's real passion was baking and sharing her baked goods with friends and family when they were sick or in need. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Teaching them how to cook and bake while telling them stories about her childhood. She enjoyed watching Texas Tech sports with her friends and family. Mary was a member of Sunset Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Beavers Day, and Kechi Beavers Riggs both of Lubbock; daughter-in-law, Patricia Beavers of Lubbock; sisters, Glenda and brother-in-law Gary Dale of Muleshoe, Mona and brother-in-law Troy Sharrock of Friona; sister-in-laws, Carolyn Jackson of Littlefield, Donna Hall of Ft. Worth, and Nita Hall of Vernon; six grandchildren, Karson Beavers, Nicole Butler, Travis Beavers, Brooke Moody, Garrett Day, Branden Riggs; and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Kelly Beavers; grandson's, Kody and Kassidy Beavers.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Sunset Church of Christ with burial at 4:00 p.m. at Parkview Memorial Gardens in Plainview.
