Maxine Faust LUBBOCK-Maxine known to family and friends as Max Faust, 67, was called home by the Lord on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 20, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate her life is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A tribute of Mrs. Faust may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net. Maxine Louise was born to James and Dora Tankersley on June 19, 1945, in Atascadero, Calif. Max graduated from Chandler High School in Chandler, Ariz. She continued her education at Phoenix College and later graduated with her master's degree from the University of Denver. She spent 45 years working in the healthcare industry. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Charles Faust; children, Allison Wood and husband, Tommy, and Jeffrey Faust; and grandchildren, Sheridan and Brenner Wood, Julia Baird, and Madison Faust. Maxine is also survived by her brother, James Tankersley Jr. and wife, Chiyo, and sisters, Vera Welker and Jette Tankersley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Family Life Center at East Sunshine Church of Christ in Springfield, Mo., or Family Life Ministries at Monterey Church of Christ in Lubbock.
