Mildred Nicholson POST-Mildred (Tucker) Nicholson, 82, died Feb. 21, 2013, in Albuquerque, N.M. Mildred was born on March 18, 1930, in Ralls, Texas. She married Don Nicholson of Post, Texas, on Nov. 15, 1947; her husband of 64 years preceded her in death on July 17, 2012. She lived in New Mexico most of her adult life as a devoted mother. She spent her early years caring for her family and later entered into the cosmetology profession. Once again, her devotion to family persevered as she left her newfound profession to help her husband start their own propane business in Gallup, N.M., where she faithfully stood by his side through retirement and beyond. She will be well remembered for being a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as for her talents in sewing and crocheting. She is survived by two children; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted by Hudman Funeral Home in Post on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas.
