Orville L. White Jr. LUBBOCK-Orville L. White Jr., 82, was a beloved son, brother, husband, uncle and father. He passed away at his home in Spring, Texas, surrounded by his family. Orville was born June 29, 1930, in Lawton, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Lubbock and San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Masonic Order for over 50 years. Orville retired after 35 years service from Southwestern Bell/ATT. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Joyce White; parents Henry L. and Louise Johnson; sister, Wanda White; and brother, Darell Johnson. Orville is survived by his son, Orren Lee White; son Michael Mike White and his wife Pam; son, Mark Davis and his wife Patti; and daughter, Kerri Crow and her husband Craig. There are 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister, Melba Boyd and her husband Bill; brother, Jimmy Johnson and his wife Paula; and sister-in-law, Donna Johnson, also survive him. Gravesite service will be held in Resthaven Cemetery, 5740 W. 19th St., Lubbock, TX 79407, at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 18, 2012.
