Roberto Andres Bravo-Villarroel Obituary
Lubbock- Roberto was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and passed away in Lubbock, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Andres Bravo and Maria Villarroel; brothers Jesus Bravo, Andres Bravo and Maria Villarroel; his sister Ma. Concepcion Contursi.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Oralia, his daughter, Lali Ysasaga and husband John, daughter Claudia H. Bravo, grandson, John Robert Ysasaga and wife, Traci, granddaughter Patricia Ysasaga Harter and husband John Clay, great grandchildren Jair Michael, Jaxon Robert, Juliana Marie and Harley Sofia. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

He earned his academic degrees in universities in Mexico, United States and Spain. He dedicated his professional life to teaching at institutions of higher learning in Mexico, United States and Spain; his last tenure being at Texas Tech University from 1971 to 2005. He was a member of prestigious academic organizations. He was a Catholic. His funeral memorial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.

The Bravo family wants to express their deepest gratitude, in a very special way, to the personnel at Crown Point Health Suites, where he received professional, compassionate care throughout the years, but especially in the last months of his life. May the Lord bless each and all at Crown Point. Also thanks be given to Kindred Hospice of Lubbock.
