Rudell Ward LEVELLAND-Rudell Ward, 82, of Levelland passed away on Dec. 16, 2012. Rudell was born on July 4, 1930, to the parentage of the late Vasten Ward and Thelma J. Shanklin in Georgia, Texas. Rudell was employed and retired with Ag Produce after 29 years of service. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. He was a member of Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Levelland, Texas, and served on the Deacon's Board under the leadership of the late Elder B. McDaniel, the late Bishop W.H. Watson, and current pastor, Ben Alexander. Rudell was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Emzell. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Johnnie Mae; children, Curtis, Belinda, Olivia, Ester, Chris, Rudell Jr. and Odell; two sisters, Thelma Newton and Willie Ruth Edwards; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at College Avenue Baptist Church, Levelland, Texas, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Levelland Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 3 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
