Sandra Noland FLOYDADA-Sandra Lee Sams Noland passed from this earth on Jan. 19, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada with Elders Wayne Venable and Richard Halbgewachs officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore-Rose Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. She was born in Lockney, Texas, Sept. 7, 1938, to Gerald Lee Sams and Edel (Weiss) Sams. She married Joe Richard Noland on Feb. 17, 1957. She was a loving wife and mother, avid homemaker, talented artist and a member of the Floydada Primitive Baptist Church. She volunteered at Covenant Hospital in Plainview as a Pink Lady working in the gift shop and delivering items to patients' rooms. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Sandra is survived by her four children, 10 grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters: Mark Noland and his wife, Gale of Clifton, Texas, their daughter, Kaci and husband Brandon Fry, and their daughter, Kaylen Fry, Meagan Noland of Clifton, LaDelle Gowens and her husband David of Dripping Springs, Texas, their children, Hayden and Hannah Gowens, Kevin Noland and his wife Monica of Miles, Texas, their daughter, Ashlee and her husband Derrick Fuchs, and their daughter, Josephine of Robert Lee, Texas, Reagan Noland of Bryan-College Station, Texas, and Abbey Noland of San Angelo, and Karlton Noland and his children, Brook, Joseph and Justin of Clifton, Texas. She is also survived by her cousins, Georgie Simmons of LaPlata, Md., Laine Sanders of Flanders, N.J., and Edward Weiss of San Antonio, Texas.
