Sibyl Keesee Coffey LUBBOCK- Sibyl Keesee Coffey, 93, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012. Services will be at South Plains Church of Christ, 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Sibyl, a lifelong resident of the south plains, was born in Thalia, Texas on April 10, 1919 to Race and W. H. Keesee. Sibyl married the love of her life, Glyma D. Coffey, on December 24, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Beryl Vann, of Littlefield, and a brother, J. Q. Keesee, of Fort Worth. She is survived by brother, Dayton Keesee, of Okla.; children, Tiwana Maloney of Lubbock, Jerry Coffey of Hurst, Texas, and Dwain Coffey of Manor, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Children's Home of Lubbock.
