Timothy John Tate WOODROW- Our beloved Timothy John Tate, 54, of Brownfield, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2013. Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers will host a Rosary followed by a gathering of friends and family this evening, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the San Ramon Catholic Church in Woodrow, Texas, to celebrate his life. Timothy was born on May 18, 1958 to Troy and Betty (Angerer) Tate. He attended school at Lubbock-Cooper High School. On Dec. 16, 1977, he married the love of his life, Patti Triggs. He received a Paramedic Certification from Texas Tech University. Timothy worked as a Paramedic for BRMC/EMS. He was a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association, a member of South Plains EMS, and a Charter Member of the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as both a firefighter and lieutenant for 20 years. Timothy was an outdoorsman, and loved camping, fishing, and golfing, as well as sports of any kind. He had a passion for flying and was a licensed private pilot. He spoiled his grandchildren and loved spending as much time with his family as he could. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Louise Tate; and his father, Troy Junior Tate. Timothy is survived by his loving spouse, Patti Tate of Brownfield; his son, Andy Tate and wife Amy of Ringwood, Okla.; two daughters, Jessica Tate of Lubbock, and Lizzy Gryder and husband David of Lubbock; three sisters, Sandra Adkins and husband, Ollie of Breckenridge, Karen Tate of Lubbock, and Julie Woelfel and husband Kevin of Lubbock; a brother, Tommy Tate and Teresa Headrick of Lubbock; and four grandchildren, Abigail Tate, Anna Tate, Andrea Tate, and Justus Tate, all of Ringwood, Okla.
