Tony Steinle MORTON-Tony Steinle, 65, of Morton passed away on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Morton Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Clay Coursey officiating. Services are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Tony was born on Dec. 6, 1947, in Higgins, Texas, to Alvin and Joye (Davenport) Steinle. He married Cheryl McDaniel on March 2, 1974, in Lubbock, Texas. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He owned and operated Steinle IGA for over 20 years. Tony was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Roger Steinle. Tony is survived by his wife, Cheryl Steinle of Morton, Texas; daughters, Chanda Cole and her husband Carlton of West End, N.C., and Tamara Steinle of Lubbock, Texas; father, Alvin Steinle of Canadian, Texas; sisters, Diane Farquharson of Claysville, Penn., and Dea Wilmeth of Hobart, Okla.; brothers, Ken Steinle of Canadian, Texas, and David Steinle of Amarillo, Texas; and two grandchildren, C.A.
