Vicki Suzanne Billings LUBBOCK- Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Vicki Billings, 41, of Lubbock this evening, December 26, 2012 beginning with services at 6 p.m., followed by visitation at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Our beloved Vicki went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012. Vicki was born on September 15, 1971 to Jimmy and Linda (Smith) Billings in Lubbock and graduated from Monterey High School. She loved people and especially children and helped her mother in her home day care. She was a compassionate person and befriended animals and people alike. Vicki enjoyed bike riding when she was able and reading. Her favorite things to watch were horror movies and wrestling. She was preceded in death by her Granny Baker and grandparents, Clarence and Daisy Billings. Those left to cherish her memories are her parents; two sisters, Melissa Williams and husband Kurt of The Woodlands and Sabrina James and husband Robbie of Lubbock; nieces and nephews, Troy Williams and Courtney Williams of The Woodlands and Zachary James, Aaron James and Abby James of Lubbock; and her boyfriend, Mike Kunkel of Lubbock. Our family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Covenant Specialty Hospital for your care and compassion for Vicki. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the ALS Foundation, alsa.org. To send your words of encouragement to Vicki's family and view tributes visit www.memorialdesigners.net.
