Winna Mae Walsh AUBURN, ME- Winna Mae (Paul, Parker, Stephenson) Walsh, 88, a former resident of Livermore, passed away Friday, October 19th, 2012 at her home in Auburn. She was born January 6, 1924 in Wilson Texas, the daughter of Alvin Jason & Sarah Willie (Shaw) Paul. Winna Mae spent her youth picking cotton in the fields of Texas. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed cooking, dancing, and gardening beside Long Pond in Livermore, but never learned to swim. She loved playing Domino's, Skip Bo & Canasta. She loved country dancing and tried to teach everyone to two-step. She loved the color red, yellow roses, and was famous for her banana bread, raisin filled & chocolate coconut filled cookies. She taught her children to count their blessings, and had a sweet relationship with God. At the time of her passing the song playing was I'll Fly Away. Survived by ten children, Aaron Stieben of Ft. Worth, Texas, Bessie Loewe of Livermore, Maine, Alvin Parker and wife Kathleen of North Providence, R.I., Belinda Winter and husband Darryl of Jay, Maine, Angie Veitch and husband James, II of Mebane N.C., Susan Smith and husband Paul of Lubbock Texas; Jane Shaffer and husband Randall of Portland ME, Sarah Shink of Pittsfield, Maine; Helen Goding of Auburn, Maine, and Priscilla Santellan and husband Joseph of Lubbock, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jimmy Paul and wife Louise, LaRue Freemont, and Edna McGuire and husband Richard all of Lubbock, Texas. She was predeceased by her three husbands, Wesley Parker, Walter James Stephenson and Kenneth Walsh, Sr. and two brothers, A.J. Paul, Jr. and Robert Paul. Messages of condolence may be sent to: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 25th at Victory Christian Church, 1680 Federal Road, Livermore, Maine. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Northwest Bethel Road, Bethel, Maine.
