Natalie Lemons LUBBOCK-Natalie Lemons passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 92 years on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Lake Ridge Chapel. Natalie was born on Oct. 19, 1921, to Walter and Cornelia Holloman Lytle in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Morton High School in 1941. During the summer, she married Joe Thurl Lemons and they resided on a farm in Bailey County. She moved to Roswell in 1976, where she was employed at St. Mary's Hospital until she retired in 1999. Natalie moved back to Lubbock, where she enjoyed playing golf. She tried to live long enough to shoot age. Natalie loved her Lord, family and friends. She will be thought of and missed every day. Survivors include her children, Sandra Thompson and husband R. E., Kay Kindle and husband Robert, and Joe Lemons and wife Linda; grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Mark Thompson and wife Lorri, Matt Thompson and wife Meagan, Jay Lemons and wife Mandy, Doug Lemons and wife Karen, Robin Whitehead and husband Mike, Stacy Kirkendall and husband Richard, Kristi Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Luke Thompson, Josh Whitehead, Jake Lemons, Cody Lemons, Andrew Lemons, Joe Lemons, Caige Hamilton, Kadin Kirkendall, Riley Thompson, Emily Goodwin-Thompson, Oliva Goodwin-Thompson, Whitney Whitehead, Courtney Whitehead, Grace Lemons, Maddie Kate Lemons, Mikaela Lemons, Kendall Hamilton, Kelsey Hamilton; great-great-granddaughter, Milaya Lemons; and sister, Dorothy Raglin. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Joe Thurl Lemons, who died March 8, 1979.
