Curtis Tech Brownlow ARLINGTON-Curtis Tech Brownlow, born in November 1950 in Hereford, Texas, passed away March 18, 2014, in Arlington following a brief illness. Curtis graduated from Coronado High School in 1969 in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University and was a graduate of U.T. Arlington. Curtis served proudly in the U.S. Army. He recently retired from the Dallas County Public Works Department after 28 years of service as a Right of Way Appraiser. He was preceded in death by his father and brother. Those left to remember him include: his loving wife, Joycelyn Brownlow of Arlington; mother, Elsie Brownlow; brother, Kenny Bob Brownlow; sister, Sheila Nordyke; nieces, Megan Nordyke and Manda Segerra, Jennifer Brownlow; nephew, Ronald W. Brownlow; stepchildren, Laura Van Meter, Jennifer Burns-Dill and Paul Burns; grandchildren, Sam Van Meter, Gabe Van Meter, Jaclyn Van Meter, Sawyer Dill, Jackson Dill and Henry Burns. Funeral services for Curtis will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church in Arlington. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
