Mary Caroline Russell Rohe LUBBOCK-Mary Caroline Russell Rohe went to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 28, 2014. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 29, 2014, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 80 years on Friday, May 30, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Lake Ridge Chapel. A tribute of Mary's life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family. She was born on April 12, 1934, to JV and Julia Russell in Van Alstyne, Texas. Mary graduated from Smyer High School. Mary was an office professional, working for the Lubbock Independent School District office for 20 years. After leaving LISD, she proceeded with her career for 25 years, working at her son-in-law's office, Richard C. Spikes CPA, PC in Lubbock. Prior to her illness, Mary attended Southcrest Baptist Church, where she had been a member for more than 50 years. Mary is survived by a daughter of Lubbock, Mary Dawn Spikes and husband Richard; a son of Lubbock, Roger Russell Rohe; grandsons: Joel Stephen Scott and wife Randa of Houston, Jeffrey Neal Scott and wife Tarah of Abilene; granddaughters: Allyson Dawn Rohe of Lubbock, Kimberly Spikes of New York; three great-grandsons: Stratton Jeff Scott, Truett Wayne Scott, and Jacob Stephen Scott; and great-granddaughter, Addilyn Kate Scott. She also experienced a lifetime with two sisters and seven brothers.
