He married his best friend and soul mate, Glenda, on his birthday in 1981. He spent 50-plus years driving a truck, logging more than a million miles. He retired from Furr's and later went to work for Fleming and Conway Express. After retirement, you could always find Papaw in his garage tinkering with motorcycles, dirt-bikes, and cars, playing his guitar and singing, or simply watching his Texas Rangers play on T.V. His best times were spent in his garage surrounded by his family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wesley; brother, Johnny; and grandson, Wesley Dorman. Those left to enjoy and cherish countless, wonderful memories are his devoted and loving wife Glenda; daughters, Veda Morgan (Glenn) of Tucson, Ariz., and Lydia Miller of Lubbock; sons, Craig Lunsford and Mark Lunsford (Michele), both of Lubbock; sisters, Dorothy Scarborough and Alma Durret of Lubbock, and Debbie Perkins of Hollis, Okla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous friends that he loved like family. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
