Wanda Joy Lively LUBBOCK-Wanda Joy Lively, 79, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. A visitation for Wanda will be held at Sanders Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, between the hours of 6to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at South Plains Church of Christ with Jim Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Wanda was born on July 15, 1935, to Arlena and James Earles in Hamilton, Texas. She received a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Texas Tech University and worked as a social worker for many years. Wanda was a proud member of South Plains Church of Christ where she was a missionary for many years and travelled to many countries including Uruguay, Romania, and most recently Croatia. Survivors include daughter, Sue Bouchillon and husband, Willie of Burleson; son, Billy Lively of Breckenridge; son, Mike Lively and wife, Cindy of Stephenville; daughter, Carol Bertrand and husband, John of Lubbock; son, Stephen Lively and wife, Barbara of Cleburne; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; Diona Phillips; sisters, Kathy Melton and husband, Earl of Levelland, and Barbara Craine of Cross Plains. She also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlena and James Earles; husband, Bill Lively; brothers, Everet Earles, OC Earles, Horace Earles, Jimmy Earles, and James Earles, Jr.
