Alcario Vasquez LUBBOCK-Alcario Vasquez, 60, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Crown Point Health Suites. A rosary will be held for Mr. Vasquez at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, in Calvillo Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation for Alcario starting at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 14, 2014, at Calvillo Funeral Home. Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. Alcario was born March 3, 1954, in Lubbock to Locario and Amelia Vasquez. He married Adela Pena on July 21, 1990. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life before retiring from Edwards Automotive. He loved working on classic cars and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Adela Vasquez of Lubbock; his father, Locario Vasquez of Lubbock; three sons, Daniel Robert Vasquez, Christopher Locario Vasquez, James Robert Bann, all of Lubbock; one daughter, Shawna Marie Bann of Lubbock; three sisters, Amy Robertson, Angela Lopez, both of Lubbock, Alicia Garza of Austin; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amelia Vasquez.
