Lucille Mounce Obituary

Lucille Mounce Celebration of Life services for Lucille Mounce, 89, of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. August 29, 2011 in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Resthaven Funeral Home. She passed from this life Thursday, August 25, 2011. Lucille was born April 14, 1922 in Slaton, Texas to the late Charlie and Bessie (Berkley) Biggs. She married Raymond Mounce, October 18, 1941 in Stephenville, Texas; he preceded her in death August 2, 1984. Lucille was a member of Northside Church of Christ. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Cecelia Hurst of Levelland, Ronnie Mounce of Amarillo Charles Mounce of Lubbock and Dwayne Mounce of Carlsbad, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Troy Mounce of Levelland; special friend, Janette Groll; and very special care givers, Mary and Jose Lugo.
