Jerry Michael Arnold LUBBOCK-A family graveside service for Jerry M. Arnold of Lubbock will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, in Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Chris Seaton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Jerry M. Arnold was called home by the Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2012. He was born Nov. 6, 1943, in Albany, Texas, to Grant and Anna (Breeden) Arnold. He graduated from Albany High School and then attended Texas Tech University. He married Yvette Karr on April 17, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nev. Jerry worked for TIME DC, Furrs, Fleming Foods, and several other major transportation companies. He was a freight broker at the time of his passing. He loved the Lord with all his heart, read his Bible, and prayed constantly. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, soul mate and lady, Yvette Arnold; stepson, Russell Sargent and wife Connie; stepdaughter, Debbie McMillion and husband Corbin; grandsons, Ryan Sargent and Devan McMillion; granddaughters, Joni Garcia and Darcy Stockman; great-grandsons, Jaxson and Maddox Stockman; many extended family members; and his beloved dog, Gypsy. In lieu of flowers, he requested donations to the ASPCA or the Lubbock Animal Rescue Center.
